Kajari Teej, on the other hand, is observed on the third day of the Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) in the Hindu month of Bhadrapada. It holds its own distinct rituals and cultural significance, attracting enthusiastic participation from women across regions. Why We Celebrate Hariyali Teej

Hariyali Teej is a festival celebrated by married women who observe a day-long fast to pray for their husbands’ longevity and well-being. Interestingly, in various regions of India, unmarried girls also partake in the Hariyali Teej vrat with the hope of finding a husband with qualities akin to Lord Shiva.
