Kasaragod Second Vande Bharat Will Connect These Cities

The Kasaragod Second Vande Bharat Express train will start next week between Thiruvananthapuram and Kasaragod, which will be the Kerala second Vande Bharat Express.

Kasaragod’s first Vande Bharat Express was started on 26 April 2023 between Kasaragod and Thiruvananthapuram is one of the most successful Vande Bharat Trains in India in terms of highest occupancy. Currently, Kasaragod’s first Vande Bharat Express has an average occupancy of 185 per cent. The second Vande Bharat train of Kasaragod will be operated under the Palakkad Railway Division.

The Kasaragod first Vande Bharat train from Kasaragod successfully completes its 586 km journey in 8 hours, maintaining an average speed of 73 km/h. Kasaragod First Vande Bharat Express train makes a total of 8 stops, including Kasargod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Shoranur Junction, Thrissur, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Kollam Junction, and Thiruvananthapuram along its route.

Kasaragod Second Vande Bharat express route will cover a distance of 573 Kilometers between Kasaragod and Thiruvananthapuram via Alappuzha. On this route, Alappuzha Railway Station will receive its first Vande Bharat Express train.

According to the sources, Kasaragod Second Vande Bharat Express will stop at Kannur, Kozhikode, Shoranur Junction, Thrissur, Ernakulam Town, Alappuzha and Kollam Junction between Kasaragod and Thiruvananthapuram Central.

Kasaragod Second Vande Bharat Express Timetable

The Second Vande Bharat Express of Kasaragod will start its journey from Kasaragod at 7 a.m. and reach the destination, Thiruvananthapuram, at 3:05 p.m. on the same day. From Thiruvananthapuram, the Vande Bharat Express will leave the station at 4:04 p.m. and reach Kasaragod station at 11:55 p.m. on the same day.

According to the media reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the Kasaragod Second Vande Bharat Express service via Video conferencing from New Delhi.
