Hyundai, is a South Korean multinational automotive manufacturer headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. Recently the company has launched the new Creta Knight Edition.
Hyundai India has launched the new Creta Knight Edition which starts from ₹13.51 lakh with the starting model and goes all the way to ₹18.18 lakh for the top model. Company has made serval changes in the exteriors and interiors of cars, mostly in gloss black finish. The other changes on the Creta Knight Edition include blacked-out front and rear skid plates, roof rails, ORVMs, shark fin antenna, and tail lamp inserts.
Some of the newly added features on the Knight edition are the latest design sunroof, trio beam LED headlamps, and crescent glow LED DRL. Another new feature included tyre pressure monitoring system.
Variants and Pricing
There are four different variants available with the Knight Edition. Two variants are available with petrol engines and the other two come with diesel engines.
Hyundai Creta Knight Edition 1.5 Petrol S+ 6MT: Rs 13.51 lakh (ex-showroom)
Hyundai Creta Knight Edition 1.5 Petrol SX(O) IVT: Rs 17.22 lakh (ex-showroom)
Hyundai Creta Knight Edition 1.5 Diesel S+ 6MT: Rs 14.47 lakh (ex-showroom)
Hyundai Creta Knight Edition 1.5 Diesel SX(O) 6AT: Rs 18.18 lakh (ex-showroom)
Creta Knight Edition Engine Update
There are no changes made by the company to the car engine. The engine is available with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or an automatic gearbox. The 1.5-liter petrol engine produces 113bhp of power and 144Nm of peak torque. The 1.5-liter Diesel engine puts out the same amount of power at 113Nm but the torque is way higher at 250Nm.
Hyundai Creta Market Share
Hyundai Creta retained the top spot with a total market share of 15.69%, which is slightly higher than the previous year (15.17%). Company every year experiments with the Creta model and this is one of the best selling cars of Hyundai company. Some nearest competitor of Hyundai Creta model are Maruti Vitara Brezza, Maruti Ertiga, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Venue etc.
