Nagpur first Vande Bharat Express train was started on 11 Dec 2022 between Nagpur and Bilaspur. This was the first Vande Bharat Express between Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra. Nagpur’s first Vande Bharat was the second Vande Bharat Express for Maharastra. Nagpur Bilaspur Vande Bharat stop at Raipur Junction, Durg Junction, Raj Nandgoan and Gondia Junction between Bilaspur Junction and Nagpur Junction.

Nagpur’s first Vande Bharat Express train covers a distance of 415 km between Bilaspur Junction and Nagpur Junction in 5 hours and 30 minutes with an average speed of 75 km/h. The maximum permissible speed given to this Vande Bharat is 130 km/h. The Nagpur Bilaspur Vande Bharat Express has a total of 16 coaches out of which 14 coaches are AC Chair Car and 2 coaches are Executive Chair Cars.

Nagpur Second Vande Bharat Express Train Route will cover a distance of 575 km between Nagpur and Secunderabad. This Vande Bharat Express route will connect two Indian states of Maharashtra and Telangana. Currently, the fastest train between these two cities is the Rajdhani Express which takes around 7 hours and 40 minutes to complete a one-way journey.

Nagpur Second Vande Bharat Express Train will stop at Chandrapur, Balharshah, Machiryali and Kazipet Junction between Nagpur Junction and Secunderabad Junction. Apart from sources and destination stations, all stations will get their first Vande Bharat Express.

As per the media report, PM Narendra Modi will flag off the Nagpur Second Vande Bharat Express train on 25 October 2023.
