Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw gave an update on Puri Cuttack Vande Metro that the government is preparing to launch it by the end of this year.
Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has announced about Puri Cuttack Vande Metro after success full launch of Puri Howrah Vande Bharat Express. Ashwini Vaishnaw said that the upcoming Vande Metro project is expected to connect the major stations in India. He said that the government is working on Vande Metro so that railway can provide comfortable journeys at affordable prices.
Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw also said that Vande Metro would help to reduce the pressure of congestion on local trains. Currently, in India, on every local train route, there are a huge number of travellers. Vande Metro will help to manage the huge crowd because the railway is designed in a way that can accommodate more passengers.
Puri Cuttack Vande Metro Route
According to the sources, Puri Cuttack Vande Metro will be the first Odisha Vande Metro train. Puri to Cuttack train route is one of the busiest railway routes in Odisha, so the government is planning to start the first Vande metro train on this. Puri – Cuttack Vande Metro route will cover a distance of 90 km between Puri and Cuttack.
Puri Cuttack Vande Metro Stop
As per the media reports, Puri Cuttack Vande Metro will stop at Malatipur, Janakadeipur, Sakshi Gopal, Jenapur Road, Kanas Road, Motari, Kudra Road Junction, Retang, Lingaraj Temple Road, Bhubaneswar, Mancheswar, Bhubaneswar new, Barang Junction, Gopalpur Balikuda and Katha Jori between Puri and Cuttak.
Puri Cuttack Vande Metro Timetable
The Vande Metro on the Puri Cuttack route will be faster than local trains. Puri – Cuttack Vande Metro will take around 2 hours to complete the journey between Puri and Cuttack. The same train will run 3 to 4 times every day on the same route. Currently, the local trains between Puri and Cuttack take around 2 hours and 40 minutes to complete the journey.
Puri Cuttack Vande Metro Ticket Price
Currently, there is no official announcement about the Vande Metro ticket price. According to the sources Puri Cuttack Vande Metro ticket price will be around 200 rupees. The ticket price will higher than local trains and cheaper than intercity AC coach and Shatabdi Express trains.
