When Rewa Bhopal Vande Bharat Express Will Start?
According to media reports, the train service is expected to get officially inaugurated on 24 April 2023 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Integral Coach Factory (ICF), led by Sudhanshu Mani in Perambur, Chennai, will design and manufacture the upcoming second Generation Vande Bharat Express train as part of the Make in India initiative.

The train will cover a distance of 700 kilometers in 7 hours. During its journey, it will connect the city of Bhopal to Rewa and will be extended to connect Indore to Rewa. In that sense, it will also be one of the longest trains in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The train is expected to decrease the travelling time between Bhopal and Rewa. The people of the eastern part of the state have long been complaining about their distance from the capital city of Bhopal. Now, this train is a step forward towards bridging the gap between the cities.

Sources indicate that the Bhopal Rewa Vande Bharat Express has a maximum speed limit of 130 km/h, which is determined by the railway track’s capacity and traffic restrictions. The train, comprising 14 AC Chair Car and 2 Executive Chair Car coaches, is a 2nd Generation Vande Bharat Express designed by RDSO and manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai. The Make in Indian initiative is flourishing day by day, and these trains provide a great platform for Indians to showcase what they can achieve.

The Bhopal Rewa Vande Bharat Express train will provide passengers with a range of modern amenities, including a GPS-based infotainment system, Wi-Fi, and CCTV surveillance, as well as fully-automatic doors. In the AC Chair Car Economy Class, the seats have a 360-degree rotating feature, and every seat has sockets for charging electronic devices such as laptops and mobile phones. Each coach of the Rewa Bhopal Vande Bharat train also includes LED screens that display information about the train’s next stoppage, speed, and other important details.
