Indian Railway is developing the railway line so that trains can achieve maximum speed. Currently, the Vande Bharat with Chair Car coach train has reached a maximum speed of 180 km/h during the trail run, but due to lack of infrastructure, the possible speed of Vande Bharat is only 160 km/h between New Delhi and Bhopal.

The first Vande Bharat Train of Sleeper coach will be launched in February 2024 between New Delhi and Patna.
