The inaugural Uttar Pradesh Vande Bharat Express train commenced operations on February 15, 2019, under train number 22435/22436, connecting New Delhi and Varanasi. Notably, this train marked the debut of the Vande Bharat Train concept in India. The train encompasses a total of four stoppages, which include the source station and destination station. Among these four stops, three are situated within the state of Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, the New Delhi Junction serves as the sole stop outside Uttar Pradesh, located in the city of Delhi.

The second Vande Bharat Express train in Uttar Pradesh was started between Gorakhpur and Lucknow, which connects the three important cities of the Indian state Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh second Vande Bharat Express covers a distance of 296 km in 04 hrs 15 mins with a frequency of six days a week. The train run at the maximum speed of 110 km/h and cover a distance with an average speed of 71 km/h. The Uttar Pradesh second Vande Bharat train stop at Basti and Ayodhya Junction between Gorakhpur Junction and Lucknow Charbagh Station.

The Uttar Pradesh Third Vande Bharat train route is set to encompass a distance of 495 km, linking the cities of Delhi and Lucknow. The train’s departure from Anand Vihar station, situated 10 km closer to the starting point, is poised to result in a time savings of approximately 30 minutes. This Vande Bharat train route will establish vital links between two Indian states, Uttar Pradesh and New Delhi.

Uttar Pradesh Third Vande Bharat Express Train Stop List

Uttar Pradesh third Vande Bharat Express will stop at Aligarh Junction, Tundla Junction, Etawah Junction, and Kanpur Central between Delhi and Lucknow. With the exception of Kanpur Central, all the other stations along the route will experience their first introduction to the Vande Bharat Express train. While the existing Delhi to Varanasi Vande Bharat train does traverse these stations, it does not currently make stoppages at them.

When Will Uttar Pradesh Third Vande Bharat Express Train Start?

The train trail run has started yet on this route. Once the trial run is successful, the Indian Railway will announce the start date. According to the sources, Uttar Pradesh Third Vande Bharat Express Train will start from the last week of September 2023.
