Haryana first Vande Bharat Express train was started on 3 October 2019, around 3 years ago between New Delhi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. This was the second Vande Bharat Express train in India. Haryana’s first Vande Bharat train has only one stoppage in Haryana at Ambala Cantonment Junction railway station. The first Vande Bharat Express in Haryana covered a distance of 656 km and connected four Indian states, New Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir. This was the first and only Vande Bharat train in India which connects four states.
Haryana second Vande Bharat Express was started on 13 April 2023 between New Delhi and Ajmer. Haryana’s second Vande Bharat Express train has stoppages in Haryana at Gurgaon Railway station and Rewari Junction. The second Vande Bharat train in Haryana connects two Indian states Haryana and Rajasthan and one one Union Territory New Delhi. This Vande Bharat train covers a distance of 430 km in a travel time of 5 hours 15 mins with an average speed of 82 km/h. This train is operated 6 days a week.
Haryana Third Vande Bharat Express Train Route
Haryana Third Vande Bharat Express Train will connect two states Haryana and Rajasthan and one Union Territory Chandigarh. This Vande Bharat Train will start from Chandigarh and travel till Jaipur. Haryana Third Vande Bharat Express Train Route will cover a distance of 593 km and most of the stoppages will be in Haryana. This Vande Bharat Express will help to connect most of the district in Haryana by semi-high speed train to Jaipur and Chandigarh.

According to sources, the Haryana Third Vande Bharat Express Train will stop at Dausa, Alwar, Rewari, Rohtak, Jind Junction, Kaithal, Kurukshetra Junction and Ambala Cant Junction between Jaipur and Chandigarh. Out of the 8 stoppages between source station Jaipur and destination station Chandigarh, 6 stoppages will be in Haryana. This will be the first Vande Bharat Express in Haryana which will have 6 stoppages in Haryana. Most of the stations in Haryana on this route will get their first Vande Bharat Express Train.
When Will Haryana Third Vande Bharat Express Train Start?
Sources have indicated that the trial run for the Haryana Third Vande Bharat Express Train will start from last week on September 2023. After the successful trial run Haryana Third Vande Bharat Express will start in the second week of October 2023.
