Ranchi first Vande Bharat express train was started on 27 June 2023 between Jharkhand capital, Ranchi and Bihar capital, Patna. This was also the first Vande Bharat Express for Bihar and Jharkhand. The train operates with the numbers 22349/22350, providing service six days a week. It covers a distance of 380 km in 6 hours, maintaining an average speed of 63 km/h.
Ranchi First Vande Bharat Express currently has 7 AC Chair Cars and 1 Executive Chair Cars coach. The occupancy rate has not been very high in the last 3 months in this train. This Vande Bharat Train stops at Gaya Junction, Koderma Junction, Hazaribagh Town, Barkakana Junction and Mesra between Ranchi and Patna. Ranchi’s first Vande Bharat Express train has a total of seven stoppages, including the source and destination stations.

Ranchi Second Vande Bharat Express Train Route will cover a distance of 426 km between Ranchi and Howrah. Both of these cities hold significant importance as business hubs in India. The introduction of Vande Bharat on this route is poised to significantly cut down travel times between Ranchi and Howrah, fostering improved connectivity and facilitating economic activities in the region.

Ranchi Second Vande Bharat Express Train will stop at Durgapur, Asansol, Dhanbad, Bokaro Steel City and Muri Junction between Ranchi Junction and Howrah Junction. The final list of stoppage list may be changed after the train trail run.

Ranchi Second Vande Bharat Express timetable has not been announced by the Indian railway. There are two possibilities that the train will leave Ranchi in the morning and will return to Ranchi late at night, and the second possibility is that the train will leave from Howrah Junction in the morning and reach Ranchi afternoon and return to Howrah in the evening.
