Patna To Howrah Vande Bharat Express train conducted a second trial run on August 12, 2023. The first train trial run was conducted on August 5, 2023.
On Tuesday, August 1, 2023, a fresh Vande Bharat Express train set, scheduled for its inaugural journey on the Howrah-Patna route, arrived at Rajendra Nagar Coaching Terminal in Patna. This new train configuration consists of eight contemporary coaches, featuring two executive class coaches and six air-conditioned chair cars. The train had travelled from Chennai to reach its destination. Currently, all the Vande Bharat Train are manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) at Perambur, Chennai, under the Make in India initiative.
