These Two Cities Will Get Two Vande Bharat In 1 Day

When Prime Minister Narender Modi flags off nine Vande Bharat Express trains on September 24, 2023, Howrah and Chennai will get Two Vande Bharat Express trains on the same day.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to inaugurate nine Vande Bharat Express trains, covering significant regions of India, on September 24. This inaugural ceremony will likely be conducted via video conferencing from New Delhi. Currently, 25 Vande Bharat Express trains are running in India. These nine new Vande Bharat Express will increase the total count to 34. This is the first time nine Vande Bharat trains will be integrated in a single day. This record will surpass the June 27 record of five Vande Bharat Express trains that were inaugurated on the same day.

This is also the first time going to happen that two cities will get two Vande Bharat Train same day. On 10 February 2023, Mumbai got two Vande Bharat on the same day between Mumbai CSMT Solapur Vande Bharat Express and Mumbai CSMT Sainagar Shirdi Vande Bharat Express. On 27 June 2023, Bhopal got two Vande Bharat Express trains the same day between Rani Kamalapati (Habibganj) Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express and Bhopal Indore Vande Bharat Express.

These Two Cities Will Get Two Vande Bharat Train on Sunday

1. Howrah

Howrah will be the third city in India, which will get two Vande Bharat Express in one day. On September 24, 2023, Howrah Patna Vande Bharat Express and Howrah Ranchi Vande Bharat trains will be flagged off. Currently, there are 2 Vande Bharat Express running from Howrah Junction between Howrah to Puri and Howrah to New Jalpaiguri.

2. Chennai

Chennai will be the fourth city in India, which will get two Vande Bharat Express in one day. Next Sunday, Chennai Vijayawada Vande Bharat and Chennai Tirunelveli Vande Bharat Express will be flagged off. Currently, there are Two Vande Bharat Express running from Chennai between Chennai to Coimbatore and Chennai to Mysore.
