Trivandrum Second Vande Bharat Start From Sunday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be flagged off the Trivandrum Second Vande Bharat Express train via video conferencing on Sunday, September 24 2023.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Trivandrum First Vande Bharat Express at Thiruvananthapuram Central on April 25. He will initiate the maiden journey from Kasaragod through a video conferencing ceremony this time. Trivandrum Second Vande Bharat train rakes reached the Kochuveli station from Chennai on Thursday morning. The newly designed train has a mix of orange and white colors. This will be the second Vande Bharat Train in Kerala and the first Vande Bharat Express in India, with orange and white colors.

Trivandrum First Vande Bharat Express is one of the most successful Vande Bharat Trains in India because it has the highest occupancy rate. Trivandrum First Vande Bharat train covers a distance of 586 km journey in 8 hours, maintaining an average speed of 73 km/h. This Vande Bharat Express stops at Kannur, Kozhikode, Shoranur Junction, Thrissur, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam and Kollam Junction between Trivandrum Central and Kasargod station.

Trivandrum Second Vande Bharat Timetable

Trivandrum Second Vande Bharat train service will commence at 7 AM from Kasaragod, with the final destination being Thiruvananthapuram at 3 PM. Along the route, it will make scheduled stops at Kannur (8:03 AM), Kozhikode (9:03 AM), Shoranur (10.03 AM), Thrissur (10:38 AM), Ernakulam South (11:45 AM), Alappuzha (12:38 PM), and Kollam (1:55 PM).

The train will return from Trivandrum Central at 4:05 PM and reach Kasaragod at 11:55 PM. The train will stop at Kollam (4:53 PM), Alappuzha (5:55 PM), Ernakulam South (6:35 PM), Thrissur (7:40 PM), Shoranur (8:15 PM), Kozhikode (9:16 PM), and Kannur (10:16 PM), in between.

The Palakkad division of Southern Railway will operate Trivandrum Second Vande Bharat, and it will run six days a week. The train will run with the 20631/20632 number. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the inaugural run of Trivandrum Second Vande Bharat Express from Kasaragod via video conferencing on Sunday, which will run between Trivandrum Central and Kasargod Station.
