Minimum Standard Required To Get Recognised ANM Institutes in Delhi By Delhi Nursing Council

ANM schools currently affiliated with District Hospitals should include a Primary Health Center (PHC) extension, providing accommodation for 20-30 students. This will facilitate community health field experience for the students.
ANM institutes in Delhi can only get recognition from Delhi Nursing Council if they operate a hospital with 150 beds, including at least 30-50 dedicated to obstetrics and gynecology, and handles a minimum of 100 delivery cases monthly.
The institute hospital should also have an affiliation with PHC/CHC for the community Health Nursing field experience.

The ANM training school ought to be situated in either a Community Health Centre (PHC annex) or a Rural Hospital (RH) with a bed capacity ranging from a minimum of 30 to a maximum of 50.
Furthermore, the ANM school must be affiliated with either a district hospital or a secondary care hospital. This affiliation ensures exposure to experiences in secondary-level healthcare and comprehensive gynecological and obstetrical care.
