Chief secretary Arun Kumar Singh, former ADJ Piyush Kumar Srivastava and three High Court lawyers — Shivaji Nath, Ravindra Griyage, and Nirbhay Kumar Singh died due to Covid-19 on Friday. The Ganga Times, Patna: In the last 24 hours, Bihar has lost its chief secretary Arun Kumar Singh, a 44 years old additional district judge, and 3 lawyers of Patna High Court. They all succumb to COVID-19. The senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer died in a hospital in Patna, where he was undergoing treatment for the disease. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar condoled death of chief secretary after he recieved the news during a cabinet meeting, according to an official statement.
